The Department is licensed by the Goethe Institut and accredited by them to conduct German proficiency examinations on their behalf.  

The department is certified to test at the B2 (Intermediate high) and C1 (Superior low) levels according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Goethe-Institut examinations set the global standard in German language proficiency testing, and passing certificates are accepted by employers and higher education institutions across the German-speaking world.
